The latest project is from photos of my DD from last fall.

Fall Beauty

This project was inspired by two amazing challenge sites – CSI: Color, Stories and Inspiration and Sketchabilities.

The colors and design elements came from this month’s Scrap 365 monthly challenge at CSI. The challenge elements are as follows:

The colors came from the challenge. The taupe and off-white was mainly used in the paint for the background and in the brick masking. The black was for the background and the coral and green were used mainly for the photo cluster, photo mat, and the embellishments. For the evidence, you can see distressing, jar, bricks, raffia, cursive font and chalkboard elements.

The mason jar was a wood piece that I painted with acrylic paint and then glued on seed beads. I wrapped a piece of raffia and tied it into a bow for added dimension.

The design and structure of the page came from the bi-weekly skecth at Sketchabilities.

The page came together so easily. Loved the design elements with the horizontal and vertical structure with the photo cluster a little off center. Brings a lot of attention to the photos.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!!
