Here is my latest entry for the CSI blog challenge for last week’s Challenge #118.

The brick texture was achieved using a crafter’s workshop brick stencil and some join compound. I have come to love this technique and medium. It is think and adds great texture – and takes color wonderfully. It is thick, yet dries very quickly. It cleans quickly and easily as long as you clean it before it hardens.

These are photos of my DD at the park last fall. She fell in love with her Grandma’s scarf and had to wear it to the park. She has a fascination with slides and the park. She climbs all over with little fear. She just rushes head long into the next obstacle….especially if there is a slide ride at the end.

I am honored that this project was chosen to be a part of this week’s watch list at CSI!
